Woundcare benchmarking in community pharmacy – Piloting a QA indicator development
|Institution:||University of Queensland|
|Chief Investigator:||Dr Julie Stokes|
The project aimed to produce a set of indicators suitable for use in benchmarking wound care practices in community pharmacy. A draft set of indicators was developed from the literature and expert consultations. The draft indicators were reviewed for relevance and feasibility by a multidisciplinary stakeholder working group. The agreed indicator set will be trialed by a pilot sample of community pharmacies. The performance of the indicators was examined for feasibility, practicality, generalisability and cost effectiveness.
